Tips for Snowboarding pt 4

boardersFor a lot of people, however, it is their very first time buying a brand new snowboard, and so they unfortunately do not have much of an idea of what they should be doing or even what they should be looking for. When you are going online to buy a snowboard, you are going to need to know what to do and what you should be looking for. Here are some steps that will help you with this process so that you can choose a board that is right for you.

1 - When you are buying a brand new snowboard, the first thing that you are going to want to do is to decide how much money you are going to want to spend in buying your board. Snowboards can easily range anywhere between $150 dollars and $800 dollars. The cheaper boards are going to be of a lesser quality, so higher prices will typically fetch a higher quality board in general.

2 - Now you are going to want to ask yourself what your current level of skill is. There are essentially three different skill levels when it comes to snowboarding. New riders are snowboarders that have no experience, or have only ridden a few times. Intermediate riders are individuals that feel comfortable going down the mountain and they may be able to do some beginners tricks. Finally, expert riders are individuals that have mastered snowboarding and can easily traverse black diamond and double black diamond runs.

3 - Now you are going to want to make sure that the board is the right size for you. Choosing the proper side of snowboard is going to be a big hassle if you are unaware of what you are doing. The length of snowboards can vary greatly from 100 cm to 180 cm. The board is going to be best suited for you if it comes anywhere between your mouth and your eye brows when it is standing up on the ground. As far as the width is concerned, you are going to want to judge the proper width of the snowboard based on your boot size in centimeters. You are going to want to judge it based on how close or how far your toes are going over the board’s edge.

4 - Now you are going to want to consider what snowboard brand you are interested in riding. There are approximately between 50 and 100 different companies selling snowboards and they all want you to buy from them. So what you should do is take your search to the internet and research a few different brands that you are interested in, and this way you will have a good idea of what type of brand and what type of board you are interested in buying.
