You should always make sure to wear sunscreen. This is absolutely a must when it comes to skiing during the spring season. When your skin has been completely covered up throughout the entire winter, the bring sun in the spring is capable of easily causing you to burn. Make sure that all of the uncovered parts of your face such as your nose and around your eyes and lips, are properly covered using the right kind of sunscreen protectant.

Make sure that you are consistently hydrated. During your spring skiing, temperatures are capable of rising and making sure that you are drinking enough water is going to be important. This is especially true when you are skiing at higher altitudes. Make sure that you are drinking enough water to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Adjust your stance to accommodate the spring snow. When you are skiing in the spring snow, you should be skiing in a more solid nature by keeping your weight balanced and even on both of your feet. You may want to consider investing in a lesson so that you can learn how to perfect the process of skiing while on spring snow. This is going to teach you some of the things that you will be able to apply again every year during each spring season.

Make sure that you are wearing sunglasses or goggles. The bright sun is enough to call for solid eye protection, so make sure that you are wearing your ski goggles. Wearing athletic style sunglasses is also going to help to protect your eyes from the sun while ensuring that you can see well on the slopes.

Make sure that you are wearing the right gear. During the warmer temperatures in the spring, any skier is capable of overheating when wearing their winter gear. You are going to want to make sure that you have a fleece or lighter jacket to accommodate sunny days. On days where there might be rain, you may opt for a light and waterproof style jacket.

Tune your skis up for the spring. The spring snow can be really difficult and is likely going to be able to slow you down considerably. If you want your skiing to be significantly smoother then you should tune your skis up before the spring season begins.
