Lien Air - This involves the front hand grabbing the board's heel edge, and the snowboarder's body leans out across the nose of the board. This is essentially a method used on the front side wall.
Lien Method Air - This is a combination between a Lien and a Method.
Lip - This is the name for the top edge of the half pipe's wall.
Lip Trick - This is any trick that is performed on the lip or near the lip of the half pipe's wall.
Lip Slide - This involves forcing the tail of the board over the slip, sliding on the surface of the lip prior to re-entry.
Load Up - This involves putting weight on one of the sides of the trucks.
Mailbox - This looks similar to a mailbox, but it is approximately 10 feet long and riders can slide along it and grind on it.
Mashed Potato - This is an alley oop in the air on a halfpipe's backside wall, and it involves the front hand grabbing the board's toe edge in front of the foot, and then the back hand grabbing the heel edge just in front of the back foot.
Mcegg - This is an invert where the front hand is planted on the wall.
Mctwist - This is an inverted aerial where the rider completes a 540 degree flip while rotating.
Melonchollie - This involves the front hand reaching behind the leg in the front, grabbing the board on the heel edge between the bindings while the leg in front is being boned.
Method - This involves the front hand grabbing the board at the heel edge with both knees bend. The board is then pulled up behind the body of the rider. When performed within the half pipe, the rider's body may become parallel along the ground.
Michalchuk - This is the signature half pipe trick by Mike Michalchuk. It is a backside flip that is similar to an inverted 540 on the backside or a 540 back flip on the backside. This trick is essentially like a backside radio.
Miller Flip - This is an invert where you approach the wall of the half pipe riding forward, planting the front hand and then making a 360 degree rotation on the front side.
Misty - This is capable of being used as an adjective in order to describe a spin that goes a little bit sideways.
Misty Flip - This is a partially inverted spin on the backside.
Mogul - This is a snow bump that is formed as a result of skiing action. Moguls are commonly found on the steeper slopes.
Monocoque - This is an integrated type of structural designed that uses the outermost material in order to bear the object's load of strength.
