T Bolt - This is a term that is used to describe a small metal cylinder that is threaded inside and that has a disk attached to its bottom, which will prevent it from being pulled up and away from the snowboard.
Technical - This is a term that is used to describe a section of a trail that happens to be obstacle laden and especially tricky in nature.
Toe Edge - This is a term that is used to describe one of two different edges that a snowboard has. The toe edge of the snowboard happens to be the one on which the toes are resting.
Toe Side - This is a term that is used to describe the very front side of the board, which is the side where the toes will normally rest. The front side of the snowboard also happens to be the side where the chest of the rider is facing.
Toe Side Rotation - This is a term that is used to describe rotating in a counter clockwise manner for someone that is regular footed, or in a clockwise manner for someone who is goofy footed.
Top Sheet - This is a term that is used to describe a type of flexible plastic that sits atop the foam or laminated core of a snowboard. This also describes the material used for capping in Monocoque Construction. The purpose of the top sheet is to protect the board's core materials as well as to act as a type of material that graphics can be applied to.
Torsion Box Construction - This is a term that is used to describe the manipulation of the flex and the torsion rigidity of a snowboard based on the board's core construction using materials capable of enhancing strength such as fiberglass for example.
Torsional Flex - This is a term that is used to describe the actual amount of resistance to twisting that a board has from one side to the other. This also involves defining how much flex a board has from side to side.
Transition - This is a term that is used to describe the curving part of a terrain that is between 0 degrees and 90 degrees.
Transition or Tranny - This is a term that is used to describe the radial curved part of a half pipe's wall, which is between the vertical and the flat bottom. The transition is ridden by a snowboarder in order to help them gain speed, catch some air and then land.
Traverse - This is a term that is used to describe riding in a perpendicular manner from the fall line in skiing or snowboarding. In riding a half pipe, the rider traverses from one wall to the other.
Tweaked - This is a term that is used to describe how much emphasis of style is placed on a particular trick.
