The economy may be feeling quite a downhill slide right now, but this has prompted many ski resorts across the country to offer excellent deals and other incentives to keep the economy going and give families the holidays and vacation getaways that they deserve during these economically and financially trying times.
The Vail Resorts, which operate out of Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone and Breckenridge in Colorado, as well as Heavenly in California and Nevada are giving out $30 dining credits for children per day for use at any restaurants on their mountains, as well as other $15 dining vouchers at certain participating restaurants any time that a parent books a three day or longer vacation. The vacation needs to be booked by December 14 and it needs to be booked through the Vail Resorts Reservations website at http://www.snow.com.
Rock Resorts, with information available through http://www.holidaysonus.com is offering a holidays on us promotion, giving any participants a completely free night of lodging on certain holidays including Christmas and New Years. Participants will qualify for this special night of free lodging any time they book four consecutive nights, but the nights must be booked by December 15 in order for them to qualify.
The Mirror Lake Inn, which is located in Lake Placid in New York is offering a special package called a Ski Stimulus Package, which includes breakfast for two, lodging for two, and two lift tickets for the Whiteface Mountain, for only $290 per night, per couple. In the New York State resort alone there are numerous deals to choose from. One of these is a free skiing pass for any fourth grader, provided that they are attending with a paid adult. During specific weekends in the months of January, February and March, any travelers who visit New York State will be able to get a third day of skiing as well as a third night of lodging any time they book a weekend ski and stay package from a number of participating ski areas. Even the hotels that you will find in the Pennsylvanian Pocono Mountains are offering unique stimulus packages for the ski season. For example, the Inn at Jim Thorpe has a Ski and Stay package that includes everything you need, which means lodging, breakfast and a pass to attend either the Blue Mountain, Big Boulder or Jack Frost skiing areas. The starting prices for these unique and enjoyable packages are between $69 dollars and $89 dollars.
