Tips for Beginners -
The first thing that you should know as a beginner is that you can rent gear if you do not have gear of your own. Ski packages and snowboarding packages are $18.00 dollars for adults, and $20.00 for juniors and seniors. Ski rental packages include skis, boots and poles, and snowboard packages include boards and boots.
The next thing to know as a beginner to the slopes is that the Okemo Mountain Resort offers a cutting edge learning center with numerous instructional programs including private instruction, semi private instruction and group lessons as well. Children's ski programs include Snow Star Skiers for ages 4 to 7 and Young Mountain Explorers intended for ages 7 to 14. there are also snowboarding programs for ages 5 to 7 (Snow Star Riders) and 7 to 14 (Young Riders).
Fees -
For every day that an adult would like to enjoy the slopes, lift tickets are up to $77 a day, with junior skiers are expected to pay up $50 a day. There are packages which cover savings over longer periods and are subject to availability. Renting either a ski or snowboarding package will run $20 a day for junior guests, and $18 a day for adults. If you plan on spending a few days at the slopes, buying a season pass may be the most advantageous option, as it offers discounts on lodging, lift tickets and other aspects of your ski and snow vacation that a traditional lift ticket will not afford you.
