Telemarking Winter Sports
Many people do not actually know what telemarking is unless they have an interest in it. When a person is telemark skiing it actually means they are using the telemark turns. To be able to use these turns your skis have to be set up a specific way, meaning that some people even if interested may have a hard time finding the correct equipment. The telemark turns where invented by Sondre Norheim who was a Norwegian man whose name will now always be remembered by telemark skiers. When you are telemark skiing, your skis are only bound by a strap to your shoes at the toes.
